Griffin Technology has launched the Binder Insert Case and the Quizam! App for Apple iOS devices.

The Binder Insert Case secures an iPad into any standard three ring binder to allow students to take notes while simultaneously accessing content from an iPad. The case fits both the second and third generation iPad models and features a loop for a stylus or pen as well as cutouts for access to a dock connector, volume controls, headphone jack and camera ports. Customization and bulk order are available.

The Quizam! App is an easy-to-use app for the classroom that allows students to use an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to answer questions in a group setting. Similar to a game show, Quizam! lets students “buzz in” to answer a teacher’s question. Teachers have the option of using the app in two modes. Buzz in mode allows educators to see the order in which students buzzed in an answer. Multiple-choice mode allows teachers to see which students answered correctly.

Quizam! Supports an unlimited number of students and provides each with a login for access. The app connects over wireless Internet and offers passcode protection. Quizam! The app costs $0.99.
