Dell and Echo360 have announced a new partnership to resell Echo360 blended learning and lecture capture solution under a Dell label.
The partnership will bundle the full suite of Ech0360 hardware and software with the Dell server, storage and networking infrastructure services. Higher education institutions in the United States and Canada can now purchase, install and receive support for the Echo360 platform through Dell.
The Echo360 blended learning and lecture capture solution records classroom instruction allowing students later access to the material either live or on demand. Instructors can use activity heat maps, a tool for gauging user habits and for identifying subject areas of most interest. The Lecture capture requires scalable compute, network and storage capacity for the optimal user experience and to archive lectures for later use.
Echo360 is now available to all U.S. and Canadian higher education institution customers under the name Dell Lecture Capture. It can be purchased at both the Dell and Echo360 websites.
