A great presentation doesn’t mean that you have to be tethered. AMIMON just announced the ELMO MO-1w visual presenter and VPR-1 receiver, which can cut those cumbersome wires out of school instruction, business, and other daily presentations.

Both products use AMIMON’s Wireless Home Digital Interface (WHDI) technology to get the job done.

The MO-1w has a wireless video camera system with a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor and a digital zoom. It can wirelessly capture static images of textbooks, contracts and other documents and three-dimensional objects. From there, it projects them to a TV monitor or on a screen, via a projector. It can also be used to show movies from PCs and DVD players.

When used in conjunction with the VPR-1 wireless video receiver, you don’t need to worry about wiring and installation costs. AMIMON says that the duo can transmit images up to full 1080/30p HD video with audio, all without a cable connection to the MO-1w.

Other MO-1w features include an HDMI input terminal, an analog RGB, and the option to save images to an SD card.
