The less expensive iPhone apps do not allow you to calibrate the meter. Also, I don't think the meter would be considered an ANSI Standard Type 1 or 2 which is needed for many measurements. Studio 6 has an external interface using calibrated microphones. Right now they only have an app for Apple products, no Androids yet.

I would propably buy a few of these apps if they made them for other smartphones. Seem useless to put an article out for when there are so many other types of smartphones like my android based.
